KAIZEN FIT - Functional Integrative Training System
The revolutionary Functional Integrative Training (FIT) System, developed by Kaizen Health & Rehab, recognizes that each individual requires specific attention with respect to treatment, rehabilitation and injury prevention. The FIT System is designed to integrate strength training, coordination and movement therapy to meet each individual's occupation and sport/lifestyle. Knowledge from both a rehabilitative and strength and conditioning perspective enables KHR to treat and rehabilitate patients and then assist them to reach optimal health and performance.

What to expect from an initial FIT assessment:

A detailed exercise and dietary history assesses your present level of fitness and general eating habits.

Skinfold testing and measurements will aid in determining your hormonal profile and isolate specific areas of focus.

Functional evaluative testing will determine your body's awareness, coordination and ability to perform specific motor tasks. This testing will identify muscular imbalances and weaknesses that need to be addressed in your exercise program.

The Functional Integrative Training System encorporates:

* Muscular Evaluation and Postural Assessment

* Chronic and Acute Injury Management

* Rehabilitation (and prevention) of Injuries & Muscular Strengthening and Conditioning

* Sports Specific Conditioning

Muscular Evaluation and Postural Assessment

The FIT System analyzes the musculoskeletal system for imbalances and weakness.

* static and dynamic postural assessment

* orthopedic specific muscular testing and muscular chain testing

* functional motor pattern assessment including Gait Analysis

All patients receive a comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluation in order to formulate the most effective treatment protocol for the injury.

Chronic and Acute Injury Management

Our new and unique approach incorporates state of the art treatment and rehabilitative protocols to address the following conditions:

* Sports Injuries (sprains and strains)

* Mechanical Low Back Pain

* Neck Pain - including whiplash related disorders

* Headaches

* Post-operative abdominal wall deconditioning (via core stabilization)

* Hip, knee and shoulder joint instability

* Repetitive Strain Injuries (carpal tunnel/rotator cuff syndromes)

Rehabilitation, Strengthening and Conditioning

"A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link."

By the time an injury becomes chronic, other structures are forced to compensate, leading to further damage and muscular imbalances. It is not until these imbalances are corrected that the body can achieve full recovery.

Functional Integrative Training focuses on the "weak link of the chain" by prescribing an individualized regabilitation program. This will not only enable you to achieve pre-injury status but also prevent injuries from reoccurring.

Sports-Specific Conditioning

Professional athletes, "weekend warriors", and those who just want to stay in shape need to individualize their training program to fit their personal needs. The FIT system can restore your health, improve your performance and increase your competitive edge!
